In 2003, I started my career as a financial advisor with Waddell & Reed and recently joined LPL Financial after the companies merged in 2021. I have been blessed to have served my clients over the years and to have built a solid group to help provide great service to all of my clients.
I grew up on my family farm in south central ND, but my hometown and farm address were actually in Pollock, SD. With the experience of hard work and responsibility, it was instilled in myself at a young age that nothing would come easy or for free. This was especially true growing up with six older brothers and two sisters.
I graduated from NDSU in the winter of 2000 with a degree in Biology. My goal at the time was to become a science teacher, but after contracting viral meningitis in 1998, I was forced to recover rather than finish my teaching degree. I did odd jobs while finishing out school since it was important to me to have a degree and gained valuable experience in the non-profit area, but I knew that I wanted to do something meaningful, to control my future, and to work with people. That lead myself to explore the financial services industry, which eventually landed me the opportunity to join Waddell & Reed in 2003.
In 2007, I married my wife Sarah and together we have four children – Kolby, Brody, Lilly, and Rubey. In 2013 we also moved out to Argusville, ND. I enjoy spending time with my family and watching them grow up while attending the many events that they participate in. I also enjoy sports, the outdoors, and tinkering in my shop.
I currently hold my Series 7 and 66 securities registrations through LPL and value all of the relationships I have been able to make over the years.
LPL Financial is not affiliated with any other entities referenced. (10/20)
